The pandemic has provoked questions about creativity, production, sustainability, and these ultimately impact design and beauty. Traditionally, a design is about enhancing and enriching. With disruption and advancing technology in artificial intelligence and deep tech, the role and responsibility of design are called into question. On the horizon, designers are now tasked to consider the future relationships between design, fabrication, supply chain, and the impact on the environment.
