APCOM 6th Thailand LGBTQI+ Biz Forum 2025 highlighting the theme of “Innovating Inclusion:
New Frontiers in LGBTQI+ Business Leadership.” during this PRIDE Month
Bangkok, Thailand – June 10, 2025— APCOM Foundation announced to organize APCOM 6th Thailand LGBTQI+ Biz Forum 2025 at Chamchuri Square, Bangkok, during 13–14 June 2025 (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Supported by Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada (GAC), MPact through the Robert Carr Fund, and Penfolds, this year’s forum is held under the theme “Innovating Inclusion: New Frontiers in LGBTQI+ Business Leadership,” which emphasizes the power of participation and shared leadership for all. The forum aims to elevate dialogue and drive real action around economic empowerment, workplace equality, and inclusive growth. It brings together a diverse range of stakeholders, including business leaders, policymakers, development partners, and community advocates, to collectively advance equality for LGBTQI+ communities in Thailand and across the Asia-Pacific region.
“We are building on from Thailand’s leadership with the passing the Marriage Equality Act in January 2025, becoming the first Southeast Asian country to legally recognize same-sex marriage. Legal reform, however, is only part of the journey—social and economic inclusion must follow,” commented APCOM Executive Director, Midnight, he continued “the private sector can do significantly more to support true inclusion of LGBTQI+ community to support Thailand becoming a trailblazer for the region and also globally, where currently there’s a pushback on our community.”
“Innovative government policies that champion LGBTQI+ inclusion, such as providing legal gender recognition to different gender identities, are essential for fostering a diverse and dynamic business environment. By prioritizing equality, we unlock the full potential of every individual, driving forward-thinking leadership and groundbreaking advancements.” Suparnee Pongruengphant, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Advisor, UNDP Thailand
“The fight to be myself is not mine alone—it echoes the pain of many who still can’t live their truth. Though I’m a trans man, I chose to create products for trans women because I see the strength of a new generation rising to claim their voice. Our hero product, underwear designed specifically for trans women, lets them wear it without needing to hide, feel discomfort, or shame. I’m here today as one voice among many who believe that diversity is not just a beautiful word—it’s a commitment we must act on. Because no one should be left behind.” Kevin, Chroma Thailand
